Mitre Yard
Mitre Yard is poised to become a distinctive residential project that will transform the West London regeneration area. Situated along the Grand Union Canal within the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation, it is destined to be amongst the most vibrant and well-connected emerging residential neighbourhoods in the UK
Mitre Yard, currently in development, will feature 241 luxury apartments across two apartment blocks and excellent transportation connections, enhanced by the introduction of HS2 upon its completion.
O’Shea Plant Hire was responsible for providing formwork solutions for the project, involving the design and supply of formwork and falsework. The construction process began with the installation of the basement, once complete we utilised a combination of Ringer and DOKA formwork for the subsequent walls
For the ground floor, the GASS system was employed, taking advantage of its variable high-strength, especially in areas with high ceilings. While constructing the core, the XClimb system, utilising both Ringer and Doka panels, proved to be highly efficient.
Upon completing the ground floor, the project seamlessly progressed using the TOPEC system, ensuring a fast construction cycle. To enhance safety, KGuard was utilised to provide edge protection for the workers throughout the project.
