Brent Cross (Substation)

The Brent Cross substation represented a pivotal component within the billion-pound revitalisation of North-West London. It incorporated the construction of the substation and the subsequent artwork, that contributed into making this an iconic landmark in North-West London

Brent Cross (Substation) Brief

As part of our wider involvement in Galldris’ works on the Brent Cross Town regeneration, O’Shea Plant Hire provided design and formwork for the new primary substation.  Subsequently wrapped in a 21-metre-high permanent public artwork this much acclaimed substation is a landmark in the North West London skyline.

The walls were formed using Framax and Master panels with the roof of the structure formed using GASS. With our expertise in formwork solutions, we worked closely with Galldris to support them in successfully delivering this award nominated project.
