Wickside
Wickside is a canal-side project still in development on the edge of London’s Olympic Park by Galliard Homes, in partnership with C.J. O'Shea. The size will cover 7 acres, making it the biggest development on Fish Island, it will consist of a high-quality mixed-use quarter, offering approximately 500 homes, including apartments, penthouses, garden studios, and terraced houses.
Wickside is a canal-side project on the edge of London’s Olympic Park, developed in partnership with Galliard Homes. Covering over 7 acres, it stands as the largest single ownership site in Fish Island. The project aims to create a high-quality mixed-use quarter, offering approximately 500 homes, including apartments, penthouses, garden studios, and terraced houses.
O’Shea Plant Hire has been entrusted with the formwork solutions for this project, which includes, the walls and floors. We will provide designs, concrete pumps, the formwork, falsework edge protection equipment, as well as transport of the equipment to the site.
The floors will be constructed using the TOPEC and GASS system. This system allows for the slab to be poured at different heights and at a faster rate, as it can be assembled and disassembled quickly. The Walls will be constructed using the Ringer Steel and Alu master system, a robust and proven system, that can be erected efficiently.
